Display your QR code
Place the code where it is easy to scan
Open your merchant QR code and place it where the customer can scan it easily.
You can display it on any suitable phone or tablet, or use a printed copy at your counter.
Keep the whole code visible
Avoid glare, folds, damage or objects covering any part of the QR code.

How a payment works
Guide the customer through payment
- The customer opens QwikPay on their phone.
- They select Scan or Make Payment.
- They scan your merchant QR code.
- They review the merchant and payment details.
- They confirm the payment in the app.
The customer pays from their QwikPay wallet and receives payment confirmation in the app.

Confirm the payment
Check your merchant dashboard
Check your merchant dashboard for confirmation before treating the transaction as complete.
Match the amount shown in your dashboard with the amount due.
Do not rely only on the customer’s screen
Use the payment confirmation shown in your own QwikPay merchant account.

If a payment has an issue
Check the payment status first
- Ask the customer to check that their wallet has enough funds.
- Make sure the customer is using the correct merchant QR code.
- Check your internet connection and refresh the merchant dashboard.
- Do not ask the customer to pay again until you confirm whether the first payment succeeded.
- Contact support with the payment time and amount if the status remains unclear.
