Add Funds & Make Payments

After signing up, complete a quick identity check (KYC) before adding money or making payments. If not done, the app will prompt you on your next login.

Choose one of two methods:

Method 1: PayID

Transfer from your bank using your unique QwikPay PayID email

1. 1Open the QwikPay app and tap Add Money.
2. 2Select PayID - your unique QwikPay PayID email will be shown.
3. 3Copy the PayID email address.
4. 4Open your banking app and start a new PayID transfer.
5. 5Paste the QwikPay PayID email as the recipient.
6. 6Enter the exact amount you chose and confirm the transfer.

Funds usually appear in your QwikPay wallet within a few minutes.

Method 2: PayTo

Authorise QwikPay to pull the exact amount from your bank - faster and one-off per top-up

1. 1Open the QwikPay app and tap Add Money.
2. 2Select PayTo and enter the phone number or email linked to your bank PayID.
3. 3Enter the amount you want to add and tap Continue.
4. 4A PayTo agreement request is sent to your bank.
5. 5Open your banking app and approve the PayTo contract notification.
6. 6QwikPay debits only the exact stated amount - nothing more.

PayTo is a one-off authorisation per top-up. QwikPay will only ever debit the exact amount you approved - nothing more.

With funds in your wallet, pay at any QwikPay merchant by scanning their QR code.

1. 1Open the QwikPay app.
2. 2Tap Scan or Make Payment.
3. 3Scan the QR code at the QwikPay merchant terminal.
4. 4Confirm the payment amount.
5. 5Done - payment is processed instantly.

Every successful payment earns you Qwik Points automatically - no opt-in needed.
